The mission of the Tennessee AHEC Program is to improve the supply and distribution of health care professionals with an emphasis on primary care - in urban and rural Tennessee.

NAO PUBLIC POLICY SEQUESTER UPDATE

On Monday February 25th, the White House released state-by-state fact sheets on the impact the sequester will have on middle class families, jobs and economic security, including information on public health programs--links are below.   The expected AHEC impact is a cut of at least 8% in addition to the cuts on the fact sheets.
